PERUMOD
PERUMOD version 2.4 is a tax-benefit microsimulation model for Peru, which is based on data from the National Households Survey (Encuesta Nacional de Hogares, ENAHO). The analysis is based on tax-benefit policies from 2015 to 2021. The model was updated in 2021 to estimate the effect of Peruvian policies that aimed to mitigate the effects of the pandemic on households. PERUMOD was developed by H. Xavier Jara (University of Essex), Rodrigo Chang (Universidad del Pacífico ), and Javier Torres (Universidad del Pacífico), and financed by the Inter-American Development Bank.

The model was constructed in 2019, and updated in 2021 to estimate the effects of the pandemic on Peruvian households.
