Venezuela (LATINMOD)
LATINMOD-Venezuela simulations are based on the IV National Survey of Households Budgets (IV Encuesta Nacional de Presupuestos Familiares ENPF) of the year 2009. The data contains information of 37,142 households and 158,924 individuals.
LATINMOD is a regional tax-benefit microsimulation model for six Latin American countries developed in the EUROMOD platform and within a harmonized data base which provides cross-country comparability.
History:
In 2018, a regional microsimulation model for Latin American countries has been developed. LATINMOD is a project aimed at contributing to the understanding of the region’s heterogeneous fiscal and social systems. Details can be found here.
