CHILMOD

CHILMOD is be a tax-benefit microsimulation for Chile powered by and following EUROMOD rules. It is being updated by an alliance between the Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES, Universidad de Chile), the Centre for Economics and Social Policy (CEAS, Universidad Mayor), Millennium Nucleus of Social Development (DESOC, Univerdad de Chile) and the Faculty of Economics at Universidad de Chile, with the support of the Centre for Microsimulation and Policy Analysis (CEMPA, University of Essex). It is available for public use from November 2021.

History:

The model started its construction in 2020 and its first version was launched in November 2021.
