ISER's Professor Sutherland presents LIS Summer Lecture 2013 in Luxembourg

Holly Sutherland, Research Professor at ISER and Director of EUROMOD, the tax-benefit microsimulation model for the European Union, recently presented the 2013 LIS Summer Lecture: “Who Pays for Austerity? The Design and Distributional Effects of Fiscal Consolidation in the European Union” at the Cross National Data Center in Luxembourg to an audience of key economists.

Professor Sutherland has coauthored numerous working papers for the EUROMOD Working Paper Series including, The Distributional Effects of Austerity Measures: A Comparison of Six EU Countries and, most recently, Nowcasting Indicators of Poverty Risk in the European Union: A Microsimulation Approach.
