IMA Workshop on Microsimulation Practice in Government

Description:

This international online workshop explores the latest developments in microsimulation practice across government. The event brings together leading experts from institutions including the OECD, World Bank, University of Essex, DWP, StatCan, and more.

Sessions cover behavioural modelling, labour supply responses, poverty alleviation, health and pension policy, cloud-based simulation, forecasting, service planning, and others. Interactive sessions provide space for discussion and collaboration, with opportunities to engage on range of topics (see below).

This workshop is designed for practitioners and researchers working in or alongside government institutions, with a focus on applied modelling and policy impact.
